Post Falls, Idaho (April 12, 2005) – The season opening Inland Northwest Sprint Cars event at Stateline Speedway was an exciting early season success this past Saturday night.
The evening got under way with Kevin Burke of Ephrata, Wash., posting the
fastest time in the #65 Red Perkins owned, Inland Northwest Consultants, Jaba
Jitters and Dean Alexander Motorsports sponsored car. The cool temperatures
kept the teams on their toes all night on the tight 1/4-mile oval. Burke also
picked up the win in the four-lap trophy dash featuring a spirited battle with
second year driver, Wes Helgeson of Spanaway, Wash.
“I really need to thank the HEI Motorsports team for allowing me the
opportunity to drive one of their competitive racecars,” remarked Berry, “I am
excited about what this year has to offer us all.” Photos courtesy of Stateline Speedway |
